New Paradigm Companies (NPC), was founded in 2020 by a tenured environmental and building professional with over 15-years’ experience who had a dream to create a firm that addressed the regional sustainability need in the construction and habitat restoration industry.

Christopher J. Rogers, PG MS

Owner: New Paradigm Companies  

Christopher Rogers is the owner and sole proprietor of New Paradigm Companies located in Winneconne, Wisconsin. Christopher has more than 15 years of environmental consulting, general contracting, and habitat restoration expertise. Prior to that, Christopher served in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout and was deployed for over two years in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  

 

Christopher is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for both his Bachelor’s (geology) and Master’s (Sustainable Management) degrees. He has conducted research in sustainable habitat practices and sustainable home construction. His proven methodology and creation of his sustainable index tool for home construction has set the bar for the performance-based home build in northeast Wisconsin. He has a proven building process which can achieve a performance rating 60% greater than the Uniform Dwelling Code. Christopher is also well qualified within construction management and has managed hundreds of projects valued up to $4 million.

Christopher is well known within the habitat restoration industry and has secured multiple grants and performed numerous jobs with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). Christopher has also gained a strong rapport with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources by working through many Site Investigations, Remediation projects, and site closures.

Overall, Christopher is responsible for general contracting, new home construction, conducting and managing environmental due diligence projects, habitat restoration, and EHS compliance and sustainability strategy. Christopher also has a vast amount of experience in site investigations (soil, groundwater, and vapor), remedial alternatives and implementation, data analysis and validation, and preparation of reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.

2021-Current

Owner, New Paradigm Contracting, LLC

Responsible for the overall company strategy and success. Additionally responsible for construction management, habitat restoration, and overall environmental consulting services.

2017-2022

Project Manager/Hydrogeologist, OMNNI Associates (Westwood PS)

Responsible for conducting and managing projects consisting of due diligence, site investigations, remedial option evaluation and implementation, sustainability initiatives and planning, brownfield redevelopment, construction management, environmental, health, and safety compliance and strategic planning. Well experienced with soil, groundwater, and vapor investigation and mitigation techniques.  

2017

Safety and Disaster Preparation Supervisor, Thrivent Financial

Responsible for the health and safety program implementation for five facilities and 5,000 employees in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Analyzed EHS data and developed a strategic roadmap towards world class safety. Trained and worked with the security team to identify common hazards. Responsible for the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan, working with continuity and resilience teams to ensure operational readiness during any natural disaster, terrorism, violence, or other disturbance.

2012-2017

Hydrogeology / Construction Management, AECOM

Supported over 150 projects in the construction services and environmental line and achieved a strong rapport with colleagues, clients, and contractors. Worked on a local, regional, and international platform with municipalities, public, and private sector clients. Held an active role in due diligence, site investigations, and remediation for brownfield redevelopment sites. Also performed EHS audits and assisted with EHS support and management system implementation for general industry clients.

2000-2008

Team Leader, United States Army

Honorably served as a Non-Commissioned Officer and team leader of soldiers in a combat arms field. The missions dictated operational needs, warranting perseverance in an ever-changing environment. Mentored and developed team and was accountable for their safety and welfare. Maintained fleet of vehicles for the unit and was accountable for the operational readiness of $13 million of equipment. Created, coordinated, and conducted weekly training for soldiers. Christopher received 14 military honors and medals during his tenure and was deployed multiple times for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
